Famous Last Words; End of School and OU Football

It is starting to become real to me that I am going to be finished with school forever in less than two weeks. It still feels like yesterday I was starting High School. I have another huge transition coming and that makes me anxious and happy all at the same time. When I started Kindergarten I got to go to Miami and watch OU win a national championship. Now, Im graduating college, I think its only fitting that they have an opportunity to win it again seventeen years later when I am done with school. I hope they make it there and when. I have already bought plane tickets to Atlanta. (No worries they are refundable). I am a bit ready to be done with school but I have a stressful two weeks ahead of me and lots of more writing to do. I feel like it never stops! I am excited to start my career though and begin to perfect my craft.

I have been through a lot in College and looking back at it, it has shaped me to become the person I am today. I have had to persevere many many times and that has just made me stronger mentally as a person. I feel like I can do anything I set my mind to now and I hope that will translate over to my job. I have had to take summer school and intersession courses the last two years to graduate on time and so I have not really had any break from school in a long time and I get a little two or three week break before I start my job and I am really looking forward to that. Anyways, there is only one week left in this class before I am done and I have to get moving on week fifteen. Ive gotten a lot out of this class and become a better writer because of it. Practice really does make perfect!

Week 5 Story: The Tale of Johnny Gloke

So for a time he was much fonder of sitting around thinking of what he could do rather than tending the crop. One day Johnny Gloke was walking around his farm trying to find something to do. He was in the barn and came across a leather football. He walked outside and saw a beehive hanging from a tree about 40 yards away. He wound up and three the football and stuck the beehive right in the middle and knocked it down. He was overjoyed at his success and his heart rose to the doing of the great deed. Learning Challenge: I wish my teacher knew....

This is the first time I have seen this story. I think it is a good way to connect with kids and really understand that not every kid is the same and you have to adapt as teacher to kids environments to connect with them and find out the best way for them to learn. Keeping this anonymous is key because a lot of these children would be embarrassed to tell others and now a days would probably get made fun of for it. I think this teacher had an amazing idea and I hope that teachers all across the country are using this method to help there students feel comfortable admitting something because I think that will help them with being able to swallow their pride and ask for help later in life. Turks and Caicos... My FAVORITE Place

My favorite place in the whole world is Providenciales Island in Turks and Caicos. I have been going every New years week for the last three years and I absolutely love it there. The water is a color that is indescribable and is just amazing to look at. It is so clear you can see the bottom of the ocean almost every where you go! The food and culture is a big mix of a lot of places, so you definitely can find something you enjoy. My favorite thing to do there is to go snorkeling as it is one of the best places to snorkel and scuba dive in the world! The water color and white sand beaches are stunning!
